Sushi Wadatsumi is on the sixth floor of K11 Musea on the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront. It began life in Central as Ginza Iwa, the overseas branch of the Tokyo sushi-ya, before changing its name and moving across the harbour. It holds one Michelin star in the 2026 guide.
Only omakase is served. Fish is flown in from Japan five days a week, much of it wild or line-caught, and Yamagata rice is dressed with a red vinegar blend and replaced often to keep its temperature right. Lunch covers appetisers, sushi, miso soup and dessert for HK$1,080; dinner costs HK$2,380, both plus 10% service. Live baby cuttlefish appears for about two weeks a year.
It suits sushi diners based in Kowloon and groups, since a private room seats up to eight. The kitchen does not offer fully cooked, vegetarian or fish-free menus. Book through inline or by phone; the restaurant opens Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner.
Menus, prices and seatings change and many counters book out, so please check with the restaurant before you go.
