Takumi occupies a two-storey building with a garden walkway on Jalan Petitenget in Seminyak. Chef Daijiro Horikoshi grew up in his family's restaurant in Osaka and created the Japanese menu at KuDeTa before opening here. He also makes kohakuto crystal sweets under the name Kohaku, which close the meal.
Seasonal kaiseki menus of six, seven and nine courses (from Rp1,000,000++ on the 2025 menus) run nightly, alongside a 6-course chef experience at Rp1,300,000++. An 18-course omakase is served at the counter on Friday and Saturday at 7pm, and a 2025 sushi omakase was listed at Rp1,800,000++ with toro, uni and shima aji. Ingredients mix local produce with Japanese imports.
Suits diners staying in Seminyak who want a chef-led tasting menu. Start with sake upstairs at the Nikai bar. Book through Chope or WhatsApp; the weekend omakase has limited seats.
Menus, prices and seatings change and many counters book out, so please check with the restaurant before you go.

Counters are small and book out, so reserve ahead.
