Zuicho is on level three of the Mandarin Oriental Singapore, with a wooden counter and views over the city and Marina Bay. The Zuicho brand also operates in Tokyo, Hong Kong and Macau, and head chef Fumio Suzuki led Zuicho Hong Kong to a Michelin star in 2021 after working in Michelin-recognised restaurants in Tokyo. The Singapore restaurant entered the Michelin Guide in 2026.
The cooking is kappo ryori built around the season, with fish and wagyu flown in from Japan. A typical menu runs from a starter such as queen snow crab, shirako somen and sashimi to grilled A5 Miyazaki wagyu tenderloin, a hotpot, sushi and takikomi rice. The signature is breaded, deep-fried A5 Miyazaki wagyu. Lunch starts at S$150 (Kichi); dinner menus are S$250, S$350, S$380 (sushi), S$450 and S$550, before service charge and taxes.
A sensible choice for hotel guests and groups who want a range of price points at one counter. Book on TableCheck or by WhatsApp; meals take about two hours, with last dinner seating at 8.30pm. Closed on Sundays.
Menus, prices and seatings change and many counters book out, so please check with the restaurant before you go.
