Fat Cow has served Japanese wagyu at Camden Medical Centre on Orchard Boulevard for 15 years. It is run by Commonwealth Concepts, and head chef Shingo Iijima, from Adachi in Tokyo, trained in kaiseki at Zaimokutei and in kappo at Mutsukari before leading Miraku in Penang. His chef's table menu, Tetsu, is named after his mentor.
The Shiki Omakase is a 13-course sushi-led menu that changes with each season; the autumn 2026 edition costs S$88 at lunch and S$98 at dinner, or S$118 with premium seasonal additions. Earlier editions used Hokkaido Nanatsuboshi rice with red vinegar and ended with an A5 Kagoshima wagyu and uni handroll. The Wagyu Omakase at S$238 features Akune Gold wagyu from Kagoshima. Whisky flights start at S$48.
The Shiki menu is one of the lowest-priced counter omakase options near Orchard Road. Reservations are required for omakase seatings at 12pm and 1.30pm or 6pm and 8pm. The sister restaurant Miyoshi by Fat Cow is on Sentosa.
Menus, prices and seatings change and many counters book out, so please check with the restaurant before you go.
