Omakase @ Stevens is on the ground floor of Novotel Singapore on Stevens, a few minutes from Stevens MRT. Osaka-born head chef Kazuki Arimoto trained in Michelin-recognised kitchens in Japan, joined as sous chef in 2022 and took over the kitchen soon after. In 2025 the restaurant won its first Michelin star and he received the guide's Young Chef Award; the star was kept in 2026.
Dinner is served at a 16-seat pine-wood counter overlooking the open kitchen. The cooking applies French technique to Japanese seasonal produce. The autumn 2026 menu runs to eight courses at S$333, including a hassun, amaebi with caviar, scallop, amadai, a wagyu cutlet with Madeira and red miso, and a seasonal donabe rice. A five-course version costs S$238. Prices exclude service charge and GST.
Good for diners who want a cooked tasting menu rather than a sushi sequence. Book on OpenTable; changes or cancellations within 72 hours cost S$240 per person. Dress is smart casual, and the restaurant cannot provide seafood-free or vegetarian menus. Last seating is 8pm.
Menus, prices and seatings change and many counters book out, so please check with the restaurant before you go.
