Seifu occupies the fourth floor of Kissuisen, the Japanese dining complex inside the Bangkok Marriott Hotel The Surawongse. Two intimate rooms of nine seats each face the chefs, and since 2025 the menu has been run with Kazutomo Matayoshi of the two-Michelin-star Gion Matayoshi in Kyoto, alongside resident chef Yuichi Mitsui. Seifu is listed in the 2026 Michelin Guide Thailand.
The format builds on kaiseki omakase and adds sushi. Japanese seafood meets Thai produce, such as fresh crab and Ayutthaya spring water used in the soups, and the printed menus carry illustrations by one of the chefs. Recent seasonal menus offered 16 courses at 5,888 baht (6,888 baht with sake pairing) and an 18-course signature menu at 7,888 baht (8,888 baht with sake), plus service; Matayoshi's guest weeks carry higher prices.
A good fit for diners who want a Kyoto-style progression rather than a pure nigiri meal. There are two sittings a day, so book well ahead through Kissuisen by phone or LINE (@marriottsurawongse). Other Kissuisen restaurants share the building.
Menus, prices and seatings change and many counters book out, so please check with the restaurant before you go.

Counters are small and book out, so reserve ahead.
