Torisawa 22 is the Bangkok branch of Torisawa, a yakitori-ya that opened in Tokyo in 2011. It hides behind a plain black door numbered 22 in the Marriott Executive Apartments Town Hall on Sukhumvit 49, with a Tokyo-style room arranged around an L-shaped counter. The restaurant is listed in the 2026 Michelin Guide Thailand.
Guests watch the grill master work over binchotan charcoal, cutting and cooking each part of the bird to suit it. The chicken is hormone-free, seasoned with one of four tare sauces or with salt from three regions, and the Michelin inspectors single out the grilled chochin (the immature egg and oviduct) as the closing skewer. The yakitori omakase course costs 3,280 baht plus service and tax, and there is a short sake list to drink alongside.
One of the better-value counter meals in Bangkok and a relaxed choice for a date or a business dinner. Book via Chope or the Michelin Guide booking page; dinner only, closed on Tuesdays. Kuma no Yakitori on Sukhumvit 47 is a few minutes away for comparison.
Menus, prices and seatings change and many counters book out, so please check with the restaurant before you go.
