Yazawa Hanoi opened in 2023 on Tang Bat Ho Street, near Hoan Kiem Lake. It belongs to Yazawa Meat, which runs restaurants in Tokyo, Kyoto, Singapore, Milan and Beverly Hills, and follows Yazawa Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City. The interior was designed by Japanese architect Takashi Niwa, with lighting by Endo Lighting.
The restaurant imports fresh chilled Japanese black wagyu, and the omakase courses are cooked at the table grill. Signature Omakase costs 1,980,000 VND and includes wagyu sushi, thin beef tongue, Yazawa-yaki sirloin and three kinds of Yazawa beef. Chef's Omakase is 2,480,000 VND, Premium Omakase 2,980,000 VND, and the Hanoi Special at 4,200,000 VND adds wagyu yukke, chateaubriand and tenderloin rice. Courses are for two or more, and a four-glass wine pairing costs 800,000 VND.
Yazawa suits groups and beef lovers who prefer yakiniku to a sushi counter. It is open daily for dinner and lunch. Book through TableCheck or by phone.
Menus, prices and seatings change and many counters book out, so please check with the restaurant before you go.
