Omakase Tiger Thao Dien occupies a traditional Hue-style wooden house on Tran Ngoc Dien Street in Thao Dien. It is a sister to the original Omakase Tiger and Sushi Tiger, and was among the openings The Dot Magazine picked out in January 2026. Chef Hiro runs the counter, which takes 14 guests per sitting.
The format is a raw-fish sushi omakase with no cooked menu. Nigiri are made with Japanese ingredients and finished with house sauces rather than plain soy. Sets cost 780,000 VND for ten pieces, 880,000 VND for twelve and 980,000 VND for fourteen, with a lunch set at 980,000 VND, all plus tax and 5% service. A five-glass sake pairing adds 580,000 VND per person.
Tiger suits first-time omakase diners and groups on a budget. Children under ten are not accepted, and groups of more than seven may be split. Book through TableCheck or by Zalo or WhatsApp.
Menus, prices and seatings change and many counters book out, so please check with the restaurant before you go.
