Nikuzen opened on 12 February 2025 on the 13th floor of Jakarta Mori Tower on Jalan Sudirman. It is the Jakarta project of Vanne Kuwahara, the founder of Yoroniku in Tokyo, and the room pairs Japanese minimalism with an exclusive counter, a private dining room, a bar and an outdoor terrace over the skyline.
The kitchen focuses on wagyu sourced from Japanese suppliers, cut and grilled for each course. Three courses are offered: Basic, Truffle and the full Omakase. Expect silky loin, Chateaubriand, sirloin with ponzu and the Chateaubriand rose cutlet sandwich, with truffle zabuton sukiyaki towards the end and kakigori on a chilled plate for dessert. Prices are not published; ask when booking.
For beef lovers and celebration dinners. Dinner only; reserve through Chope or by phone and ask for counter seats.
Menus, prices and seatings change and many counters book out, so please check with the restaurant before you go.

Counters are small and book out, so reserve ahead.
