Wagyu Kappo Yoshida is on the 48th floor of Naza Tower in Platinum Park, near KLCC. The concept comes from Junichi Yoshida of Ishigaki Yoshida in Tokyo, and the counter seats 12. Veteran chef Kazuhiro Hattori acts as host, cooking and serving in front of guests in the kappo style.
The omakase uses different parts of premium Japanese wagyu in each course. A 2024 review lists beef consomme, braised A5 tenderloin, beef yukke, a steak sandwich, a choice of sukiyaki or shabu-shabu, a truffle menchi cutlet, crispy sirloin and beef curry, at RM1,188 plus charges. There are seafood sets for diners who do not eat beef, and the Michelin Guide describes the lunch set and a la carte menus as good value.
This is a counter for beef lovers marking an occasion. Lunch has been served Thursday to Saturday and dinner Monday to Saturday; confirm hours and current prices when booking by phone.
Menus, prices and seatings change and many counters book out, so please check with the restaurant before you go.
