Kuala Lumpur's omakase counters are clustered around KLCC, Bukit Bintang and the St. Regis at KL Sentral. Seven are Michelin Selected: Sushi Taka, Ushi, Sushi Ori, Sushi Masa, Wagyu Kappo Yoshida, Tenmasa and Kazu.

Dinner at the top counters costs RM780 to RM1,600, and lunch is often less than half. For a cheaper start, Tenmasa's tempura omakase is RM398 and Kinome at Isetan Lot 10 serves a pork-free omakase from RM188.
