Kyo-To has been in Legazpi Village since 2017, on the ground floor of Coyiuto House on C. Palanca Jr. Street. Chef Ryohei Kawamoto was born in Kyoto, trained at Kitcho and once cooked privately for the Japanese ambassador in Manila. Diners choose between the kappo counter, four private rooms and the main dining room.
The meal is a multi-course kaiseki built on the season, with produce flown in two or three times a week and the chef setting the sequence on the day. Expect sashimi such as seared bonito with tuna, simmered and grilled courses, and A5 wagyu, including a wagyu sando; Echizen snow crab appears in season. The tasting menu starts at about ₱8,500 per person, before service.
Best for diners who want to watch kaiseki prepared up close, or for business dinners in the private rooms. Dinner only. Book about a week ahead for the counter, and ask about the off-menu wagyu shabu-shabu.
Menus, prices and seatings change and many counters book out, so please check with the restaurant before you go.

Counters are small and book out, so reserve ahead.
